League Pots

Run a season-long cash prize fund in your FPL mini-league — monthly winners, end-of-season payouts, and a cup prize. The admin sets a fixed entry fee; prize pools scale with how many managers actually pay in.

How it works

1
Pay in at the start of the season

Your league admin sets the entry fee and closing date. Only managers marked as paid are eligible for prizes — others can stay in the league for fun.

2
Win the monthly prize

Each calendar month, the manager with the most FPL points in that month wins (gameweeks are grouped by their official FPL deadline month — the same idea as “manager of the month” on the official site). Tied monthly scores split that month's prize equally.

3
Top four share the end-of-season fund

When the season ends, overall league points decide 1st through 4th. The end-of-season pot is split 40% / 25% / 20% / 15%. If managers tie on points, they share the combined prize for the places they occupy (e.g. a tie for 3rd and 4th splits 35% equally).

4
Cup winner

A fixed cup prize is reserved from the pot for the end-of-season cup winner.

Where the money goes

Amounts depend on how many managers pay in and the entry fee your admin sets. All pools are percentage-based on total collected — if half the league pays in, prizes are half the size.

  • Monthly fund — 50% of total collected, split across ten calendar months.
  • Cup prize — a percentage of the pot reserved for the cup winner.
  • End-of-season fund — the remainder after monthly and cup allocations; split across the top four as above.

Worked example

Illustration only — your league may choose different fees and player counts. Open your league’s Prizes tab for live figures.

Suppose 60 managers each pay €20 to enter (€1,200 collected).

Monthly (×10)
€60 / month
50% of €1,200 ÷ 10 months
End of season
€580
Remaining pot after monthly and cup allocations
Cup
€20
Reserved for the cup winner

End-of-season split of €580:

Place Share Prize
1st 40% €232
2nd 25% €145
3rd 20% €116
4th 15% €87

Rules & eligibility

  • Entry fee and bank details are set by your league admin on the Prizes tab.
  • Only managers marked as paid are eligible for prizes; unpaid managers can play for fun.
  • Prize pools scale with paid entrants × entry fee — partial participation is supported.
  • Late entries after the deadline cannot be added — plan ahead if sites are busy on deadline day.
  • Monthly ranking uses official FPL gameweek points summed over the calendar month.
  • Tied monthly scores split that month's prize equally between the tied managers.
  • Tied end-of-season scores share the combined prize for the places they occupy (e.g. 3rd and 4th share 35%).
  • If the season runs beyond May, leagues may adjust end-of-year prizes to fund extra monthly payouts.
